Drink tequila at brunchtime wtih the 1800 Brunch Saloon

The brunch revolution is here to stay and the Bloody Mary is a bit passé. If you like robust brunch banter over your bacon and eggs, then you’re in luck.

Come and celebrate the perfect union of tequila and tomatoes at the 1800 Brunch Saloon, taking place at the B&H Kitchen at Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings on Sunday 3rd July at 11.30am.

The 1800 Brunch Saloons are lively, informative, thought-provoking conversations hosted by The Thinking Drinkers, award-winning drink writers and comedians, who will deliver diverting dialogue to digest over brunch and bottomless Bloody Marias – a modern and adventurous rendition of the Bloody Mary, using tequila instead of vodka.

The Thinking Drinkers are Ben Mc Farland, triple-crowned winner of ‘British Beer Writer of the Year’, and Tom Sandham, the former editor of leading cocktail and spirits magazine CLASS. Their latest show, ‘Around the World in 80 Drinks’ will be touring the UK over the summer.

The 1800 Brunch Saloons will be rolled out in brunch venues and festivals throughout the summer. Keep an eye on @1800Tequila for updates! And if you can’t wait until the Brunch Saloons to try a Bloody Maria, then head to one of London’s high-end brunch venues from July onwards, where you’ll be able to build your very own Bloody Maria using the ‘1800 Brunch Carousel’. Embrace your creativity and pander to your taste bud’s delectation with a selection of 27 ingredients, including wasabi, umami paste, seaweed and porcini powder to make your unique Bloody Maria.

The tickets include a three-course brunch, created by a Michelin starred chef, with bottomless build-your-own 1800 Bloody Maria cocktails, coffee and soft drinks and are available to purchase via Billetto.
