It’s that deepest of yearnings for modern man – the lure of the sea.

And as you dive below those inviting waves ocean you find amongst the seaweed and coral with all the sea life staring back at you.

This underwater world though needs our protection. With a growing population and industrialisation there is an increasing pressure on our oceans and if we are not careful we could destroy the very thing that we love so much.

Now Davidoff have teamed up with National Geographic to help protect 10,000 square miles of ocean in their Love the Ocean 2 campaign which supports National Geographic’s Pristine Seas Expeditions. In the film you can watch Paul Walker, the face and spokesman for Davidoff Cool Water talks with Dr Enric Sala, explorer-in-residence for National Geographic about their love for the ocean and passion to protect the most precious of environments for us and future generations.

You can also get involved to help to preserve the world’s oceans. To celebrate the launch of this next phase in the partnership limited edition packs of both male and female fragrance have been launched. So now each time you buy some Cool Water you will be helping to save 10,000 square meters of ocean. And each ‘like’ on the Davidoff Cool Water facebook site will mean further 5000 square meters of ocean will be protected.

Ultimately it’s raising awareness that will help to rally support around the world to protect this precious and vital resource and so anything we can do to help this goal is one small step on the right direction.
