World-renowned model and style innovator, Agyness Deyn is about to launch her first, exclusive collection for iconic British brand Dr. Martens. And we can offer 5 readers the chance to attend the exclusive preview in Manchester.
The capsule collection, featuring clothing, accessories and footwear, will be available from Dr. Martens stores nationwide, including the new Manchester branch on Market Street, from 15 August 2012.
Reflecting the shared values of self-expression and a desire to be different, the collection takes inspiration from both the brand and Aggy’s own personal style and is influenced by popular cultural references from music, film, TV and style. Agyness worked closely with the Dr. Martens creative team, designing pieces that merge a grunge aesthetic with modern styling, quality prints, and bright colour pops.
Agyness says, “I have always had a really intense relationship with Dr. Martens, right from my first pair back when I was 13, which I bought as a combination of showing that I wanted to rebel against my parents and they were the coolest boots that I could get away with wearing to school which stood for something that gave me my own stamp of originality.”
On Tuesday 14th August, the Dr. Martens Manchester store will host an exclusive preview evening of the Agyness Deyn collection. We are offering five readers and a guest the chance to be at this not-to-be missed event. At the exclusive preview evenings you will not only be able to shop the clothing and footwear styles before they go on general sale, you will be given an exclusive gift with purchase, free drinks and view the official Agyness Deyn film. Each winner will also be welcome to bring a guest with them.
