Merging hand printed fabrics and crochet chains, ceramic tiles and contemporary craftsmanship, the joining of contemporary forces Anntian and Ariella De Pinto makes sartorial sense. Modelled by Carla from Nine Daughters and a Stereo, the jewellery is hand made in Canada combining the fine arts background of jewellery designer De Pinto and design knowledge of duo Anne Hilken and Christian Kurt. With a mutual appreciation for the complexities in detail, their conceptual approach to their work has meant that whilst Anntian create the fabric designs, De Pinto provides the painstakingly made crochet links that connect the elements. Creating individual components united by skilled craftsmanship, it’s a statement to be seen in.
