Since 2005, Awareness & Consciousness has graced our universe with sensuous and soft flowing collections, based on high-quality jersey fabric. Christiane Gruber studied fashion under Raf Simons, Victor&Rolf and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac at the Viennese University of Applied Arts, and then acquired international experience working for Haider Ackermann and A.F.Vandevorst. A&C is short for Accessories & Clothes and has been presenting collections at Paris Fashion Week since autumn 2005.

 

The focus of the SS10 A&C collection is temper. Again the material and fabric treatments take centre stage assembled with A&C patterns from the last eight collections. They have been remixed and developed with three different handmade dyeing/printing techniques. Temper is a special dyeing technique related to a silk screen print, but actually more of a dyeing process and all handmade. Ortune where ready-sewn pieces have been dropped into the colour. And stamp/print which is a negative print of temper.

 

Every hand dyed item is an original and unique, with agate stones either with silver chains or with a simple leather band are completing the SS10 look.
