NowTV Smallest Film Festival winners – Vine app frolics

You may remember our story about the NOW TV Movie Festival a few weeks ago, telling you how NOW TV were challenging people to enter their best Vine videos into a mock film festival in order to win prizes.

Well, they’ve just announced the winners, and there are some really creative Vine’s in there! It’s amazing what that little Vine app can do.

The winning selection includes some masterpieces of the 6 second genre that are fun and captivating – and really wide ranging. The overall and comedy winner, Moose Allain’s contribution offers a sketchy twist on the Trojan Horse legend.

Ryan McHenry’s people’s choice winner is a hypnotic spinning trap that just might keep you starring at your screen forever.  Lauren Dooley and Yad Deen offer compressed versions of reality and John Edward Doyle’s Horror category winner is just eye-bogglingly good.

As part of the competition, NOW TV asked the winners to post their acceptance speeches on Vine; You can see what Moose Allain had to say below, or follow the links to catch a glimpse of the responses of the other winners.

But in particular make sure you check out the dedicated website to watch the winning entries as well as all of the other submissions here.

And don’t forget, you can get a completely free 30 day trial of NOW TV right here: www.nowtv.com
