Gio-Goi – New Contraband Range Review

Live who you are. We are. Introducing Contraband, the brand new range from Gio-Goi – Kicking off the new A/W season with an additional, fresh new line is how they roll at Gio-Goi. Taking inspiration from the hub of innovation and street cool of London, the collection fuses together the capital’s ideologies with its underground music scene and rock ‘n’ roll beat. In turn, moulding a faultless dishevelled indie look for the imminent winter.

Men can’t go wrong with Gio-Goi’s perfect, jigsaw-like collection. It starts with a tour tee, music resonating as their main focus; it’s then wrapped with a superlight knit or a quirky neck jersey and paired with denim, all in dark, moody hues, classic Brit rock personified. Gio-Goi call it the ‘Friday Night Special’, but with pieces so versatile, they’ll slip right into your current wardrobe and leave you wondering what you ever did without them.

Accessories also get a look in this season with minimal messenger bags, bottle opener buckle leather belts and knitted beanies stitching the whole look together.

But what about the shoes you say? Fear not, Gio-Goi have a new and exciting A/W 2011 footwear offering for men, designed with their apparel and denim collection in mind the new footwear line also handily complements the Contraband range.

The dynamic collection features athletic inspired streetwear trainers, casual canvas plimsolls for everyday wear and clubbing inspired statement high-tops in clashing citrus yellows, reds and bright blues. All have an ongoing retro nod and are laced up with musical influences.
