Bombay Sapphire Imagination Series Gives Film Makers A Break – Winners Show at Tribeca

Aspiring film makers need grit, determination, buckets of imagination but above all they need that one big first break.

This is exactly what the Bombay Sapphire Imagination Series: Film competition sets out to do. Backed by the much respected Tribeca Film Festival it allows film makers to get those creative juices flowing all based around a script by Oscar winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher.

People are invited to view the script at www.imaginationseries.com and put forward their own innovative film concepts. The most exciting and imaginative ideas will go into full production with each winner involved in the production of their own film. They will see the film industry’s top talent bring their film to life in celluloid form.

The competition closes on 4th August 2013 when a panel will shortlist the four most creative concepts to go forward into production. The judges will include Geoffrey Fletcher and a panel of industry finest including renowned actor Adrien Brody who was awarded an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in Roman Polanski’s The Pianist. The public will get to vote to decide the fifth winner and all will then go into full production. The five films will then be presented at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2014.

Geoffrey Fletcher comments on his involvement, “I’m honoured to be part of this special creative journey with Bombay Sapphire gin for a second year.  The calibre and creativity from past finalists was astounding and has set an inspirational benchmark for this year’s competition.”

Bombay Sapphire has a long pedigree of supporting the creative arts and new ideas that really push the boundaries. Bombay Sapphire Imagination Series is now in its second year building on last year’s success and is establishing itself as a genuine chance to shine for the filmmakers of tomorrow.
