Lady Wray has announced her new album Cover Girl with the lead single “You’re Gonna Win” — an anthemic, uplifting track full of soul and confidence. Nicole Wray takes charge over a bubbling bass line, crisp drums, and soaring piano, all brought together by Grammy-winning producer Leon Michels (Norah Jones, El Michels Affair, Clairo). Powerhouse vocalist Lady Wray returns with her new album Cover Girl, out September 26 via Big Crown Records. Reuniting with longtime collaborator and Grammy-winning producer Leon Michels, the album expands Wray’s sound—melding ‘60s/‘70s soul and disco, ‘90s hip-hop and R&B, and gospel—into a bold, joyful statement of self-reflection and empowerment.
