This year, adidas and Yohji Yamamoto celebrate ten years of Y-3, the iconic collaboration combining adidas’ sports technology and Yohji Yamamoto’s style aesthetic.

At the foreguard of sports fashion when it was launched in 2003, the brand has led a wave of technical meets high fashion ever since.

As part of its ten year anniversary celebrations, Y-3 has collaborated on a limited edition shoe in partnership with Selfridges. The SPRINT trainer – one of Y-3’s most successful styles since the brand’s launch in 2003 – has been updated in the signature yellow and black Selfridges’ colours to create a highly distinctive shoe exclusive to the retailer.

The model is based on a traditional running shoe silhouette and mixes high performance functionality with contemporary design, a true fusion of sport and style that is representative of Y-3. The all black SPRINT comes in high quality leather with splashes of Selfridges’ trademark yellow and provides comfort and style for the summer season ahead.

The Y-3 x Selfridges SPRINT is limited to 50 pairs, and will be available from 28 January at Selfridges Trafford Centre. See www.Y-3.com or www.selfridges.com for more information.
