Chanel Make Up Collection Spring Harmony – Beauty Article

Beauty Article by Fiona Shaw

‘In the freshness of dawn and the softness of sunset.’

Spring skies can take your breath away especially at daybreak and nightfall. Those dramatic sunrises and sunsets are the inspiration for Chanel’s latest collection, Spring Harmony.

Peter Philip, Creative Director of Chanel Make-Up has transformed these colours into make-up form – a true interpretation of that harmony of shimmering colours that hint at new horizons and the promise of long lazy summer days ahead.

For this latest make-up collection that means all shades of pink, coral and peach adorn the lips, cheeks and fingertips highlighting the twisting moods of Spring. The mood is punctured by the teasing manner of the lips – the sparkle of gloss, the lazy charm of lipshine or refined streak of satiny lipstick.

The cheekbones set the scene. A soft purity is the backdrop for the eyes cloaked in luminous nude tones or in a more flirtatious mood shrouded in a magical glow of amber flushed with gold. The entire collection is imbued with a soft burning glow of garnet. A reminder of the warm rays of summer and a touch of sensuality. This collection has all the hallmarks of Chanel, an elegant, effortless luxury. Spring captured and bottled and at your beck and call.
