Footlocker’s Sneaker Exclusives for Summer

Summer is finally here and so it’s time to get out the sneakers and look forward to a long hot dusty summer – well we can hope anyway.

And if you take a look down at your feet and have that sinking feeling as you see your big toes poking out it’s time to treat yourself to a new pair. There are some very tasty looking new ranges out there and Footlocker have some exclusives that are well worth checking out.

The new Converse Star Street Collection for Foot Locker is effortlessly cool. They have been heavily inspired by vintage skateboarding kicks and classic court shoes. The finished article is simple and rather elegant – great in a fashion sense as well as for trying out your latest moves down the skate park.

Lacoste also have some seriously street style sneaks that twist up preppy style and give it a tough new face lift with their Platinum collection. They come in a sleek grey colourway with a platinum finish of brushed leather or a white and grey colourway, in a soft leather finish. These are bold and elegant and inject a touch of luxury to that streetwise look.

If you’re aiming to get out for a run and need something that gives you that extra yard as well as looking the part, then the Nike Free Run 5.0 could be the one for you. It is super lightweight and allows your feet much needed freedom of movement and flexibility. It also looks rather nice with a more classic urban trainer look rather than the slightly stiff executive look you often get with running shoes.

Another serious contender for running shoe of the season is the Climacool range from Adidas. This is a serious shoe for taking to the roads and will keep your feet feeling fresh and looking good too. Colour-wise you can go for a clean white look in white woven nylon with adidas signature 3 stripes in a silver grill. Personally though I’d go a bit more bold – the satellite blue ones with acid green and black accents are the ones going on my feet. They should turn some heads as you put in the miles.

All available now exclusively at Footlocker.
