Easy 5 step skin care routine for men

Easy 5 step skin care routine for men – Alan Woods

It’s not just women who are searching for skin care routines, there are also a lot of men out there who are equally conscious about their appearance.

Haven’t you seen your father use a separate bar of hand soap, shampoo and shaving kit which he doesn’t like to share? Yes, Men do and should have a dedicated skin care regime.

It’s not that we have been overlooking almost 50 percent of our population, as beauty tips for men and women are more or less same. Less because most men might not wear make-up or grow their hair and nails long, but some things like acne, dry skin and scars are caused by the same reasons in both men and women. This is why a majority of skin care tips apply to both. To prove this, here is a five step skin care routine for men to help keep his skin in tip-top condition, whatever age they are.

Step 1 – Cleanse

Don’t consider cleansing a big word, as it is just a fancy word for washing your face. If not anything else, just cleanse your skin each time you get back home. This is a must. You may not see the dirt and grime on your skin, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Think about pollution, vehicle exhaust, cigarette smoke, even cooking fumes and what not that you are exposed to on a daily basis. All of these little particles can land on your skin and cause damage, so they must be washed away.

Hold on, not with your withered old bar soap as they tend to be loaded with detergents and deodorizers which can be very harsh and dehydrating to the skin. Reach for a good facial cleanser that targets normal to oily skin, as men tend to have skin that is a bit oilier than women. Check out some acne face wash reviews to find the best one suited to your skin.

Step 2 – Exfoliate

As cleansing just cleans, if you really want to see and feel a difference in your skin, try the next step which is exfoliation. This is the process of removing the dead skin cells from the surface to reveal the new skin cells beneath. Think of an exfoliator or scrub and scrap the damaged skin out to be left with a soft, smooth surface that looks like a brand new piece of wood. There are natural skin exfoliates that work for both men and women. You can pick them from ShytoBuy and other sites which have segregated skincare product category for men. An ideal exfoliant is one that contains scrubby yet gentle particles to help smooth the skin and eliminate dullness. The extra perks of using an exfoliant is that it will also help soften your hair follicles, so your skin feels less irritated while shaving. In terms of exfoliating intimate parts, you must never put any cleaning products inside there is a proper anal bleaching for men to help prevent common skin problems.

Step 3 – Moisturize

After the rough and tough exfoliating, you need to moisturize. It can make a world of difference in the appearance of anyone’s skin. Since men shave their faces, they tend to need moisturizing even more than most women do. Every time you scrape that razor across your skin, you aren’t only removing facial hair but you are also removing necessary oils from your skin. And then on the hurt skin you tend to slap some alcohol-based aftershave lotion without any mercy that burns and further dehydrates the skin. Moisturizer is what you need to help to replenish your skin’s moisture content and allow the razor burns to subside. Choose a moisturizer that contains SPF to help protect you from ordinary exposure to the sun’s damaging rays.

Step 4 – Eyes

The signs of aging first appear around the eyes, and this is the very place that many men don’t pay much attention to. The skin around our eyes lacks in both sweat and oil glands, making it highly susceptible to dehydration which can show itself as fine lines and wrinkles. Pick up a hydrating eye cream right away. All you need is a little dab of product under and around each eye to do the trick. It will help hydrate, smooth and protect your skin every day. If your skin is less damaged then you can apply your eye cream after cleansing every morning and before bedtime.

Step 5 – Lips

You might not believe this but our lips age drastically with time. Take a look at your old snaps and find out the difference. Scientifically, as we age our lips lose collagen and they start to melt right in with the rest of our face. Women have a lot of scope to hide pale lips with lip liners, lip stick and lip glosses but what do men do? Simply hunt for a lip balm, preferably with SPF and keep applying throughout the day whenever your lips turn dry.

Did you gentlemen think it was really that simple? Less is more so simply incorporate these five simple steps into your daily regimen and you will definitely notice a difference in your appearance. Healthy skin is handsome skin.
