French music maestro Sebastien Tellier is back with yet another new album to be released shortly. The single L’Amour Naissant is hopefully a nice taster of the rest of the album. This for me is Tellier on top form.

He never belts it out, his voice just flows effortlessly over the melody. This is a lush soundscape that justifies a suitably filmic backdrop. Step forward legendary film director Jean-Baptiste Mondino who filmed this video for the single that stars Anna Mouglalis and Clement Chabernaud and Sebastien himself looking very Jesus-like. This is stirring stuff. Can’t wait to hear the full album entitled ‘Confection’ which is due to be released on 11th November on Record Makers.
