Shrimps – Hannah Weiland’s Luxury Faux Fur Label

Shrimps is the name of the label conceived and run by young designer Hannah Weiland that is making an impact across the UK.

Hannah has risen through the ranks with a background in the history of art and a diploma in textile design from the London College of Fashion.

Her love of art strikes you as you feast your eyes on any item from the latest Shrimps collection. There a knowing sense of fun and a slight bit of cheek about these designs and their eye-popping colour combinations. The texture of the faux fur adds that sexy, luscious edge. The quality of the man-made fur is so high that it is now being used in its own right as a luxury fashion material and with Shrimps, Hannah celebrates the fact with the neon colour clashes so beloved by her fans.

The cooler end of celebrities and fashion insiders have been quick off the mark to wear and support the label. The clothes are also incredibly wearable, adding colour and life to a casual look with jeans or giving luxury evening wear more vibrancy and glamour. The vivid colours and eye catching textures gives the wearer a look that helps them stand out amongst the crowd. The response from devotees, and what also comes across from the clothes themselves, is their sense of frivolity and art inspiration. Puts a smile on your face and slip into Shrimps!
