Brighton Rock – Win the DVD

Pinkie is not a pretty character. He’s ambitious and ruthless. A razor-wielding teenager who’s has dragged himself up for the grime and is now clawing his way to the top of a seedy and literally cut-throat underworld. Brighton Rock is a doomed romance. A warped love story between a murderer and a witness.

When a young waitress, Rose stumbles upon evidence linking Pinkie and his gang to a revenge killing carried out by Pinkie himself he decides to seduce her. At first this is to find out just how much she knows but later this is to keep her silent and from going to the police. Will Pinkie kill Rose to shut her up? Or is Pinkie, himself doomed?

Out now on Bluray and DVD the film is adapted from Graham Greene’s iconic 1939 novel, Brighton Rock is directed by Rowan Joffe and stars Sam Riley (who shot to fame playing Ian Curtis in Control) as Pinkie and Andrea Riseborough as Rose with great back up from Helen Mirren & John Hurt. There are loads of extras such as interviews with the director and stars plus deleted scenes and stills.

We have 5 copies of the film to give away. Simply ask us nicely and the first 5 will get a copy. Email us at editorial@fluxmagazine.com
