If you’re an England supporter and music lover this should warm the cockles of your heart. Dutch Uncles have teamed up with Everything, Everything for this a capella Euro 2012 song brilliantly entitled ‘Road to Roy’. This is one of the strangest football songs I think I’ve ever come across. None of the usual bollox about 3 lions this and that nor the overblown hope and patriotic fervour. No this is different. This is much more downbeat and true to life as any armchair England fan will attest. A tale of dashed hopes which is strangely uplifting. It made us smile anyway.
