Origins Age-defence Moisturiser with White Tea – Beauty Article

Beauty Article by Fiona Shaw

As a tea lover and believer in the benefits of tea be it black, green or white and a user of Origins products I was very keen to try out this new tinted moisturiser, part of their ‘A Perfect World’ range. It contains antioxidant-rich Silver Tip White Tea – purported to boost the skin’s defences against the harmful effects of pollution and other environmental factors.

The moisturiser has a long name which is a bit hard to get your tongue around – A Perfect World™ BB SPF 15 Age-defence tinted moisturiser with White Tea. Not exactly short and sweet. This is a high performance skin care product aimed at giving a whole host of benefits to your skin. The overall result is claimed to be radiant, flawless-looking skin. Well this is the Holy Grail of course for brands and women alike. Origins kindly sent us some to try out for ourselves.

Well the first thing to say is that it feels great on the skin – it’s really refreshing and the aromas certainly helps boost your mood with the lovelyblend of essential oils of Lemon, Sweet Orange, Bergamot and Spearmint. The moisturiser really nourishes your skin giving it a much needed moisturising boost. Regarding its age defying properties it looks promising, but I need to give it more time to reach a verdict on that. But what I can say is that it made my skin look and feel great. It’s great too that it has sunscreen protection built in and that you don’t need to apply a myriad of creams to get these results. A great new product for summer I say.
