Jivesse Skincare: Launches in John Bell & Croyden

Jivesse is a young, innovator on the beauty scene. Avoiding any invasive techniques, the brand aims to work its magic via its range of creams and supplements and its making quite a name for itself.

With the recent arrival of the Jivesse Marine Collagen range on the shelves of Oxford Street’s prestigious John Bell & Croyden Pharmacy, we jumped at the opportunity to try out the Jivesse Marine Collagen Cream from the range.

The Jivesse cream claims to defend against the signs of aging and reduce deep wrinkle formation, making skin appear firmer, improve elasticity and hydration and provide a youthful glow! The holy grail of skin care of course.

It comes in sturdy, luxe white box with turquoise and gold detail. Once open, you have a gorgeous 50 ml turquoise jar with a gold lid. It operates as an airtight sealed pump, so air and light cannot damage the potency of the product inside. We’ve seen a number of products opting for this system recently, and it does really work. Not only that, the system helps control how much of the product you use each time and one ‘pump’ is perfect for a single application.

The cream’s key ingredients include Peptan to boost collagen production, Argireline which is used as a cosmetic alternative to Botox and Liftonin Express for tightening. On top of that it is fortified with anti-oxidants for firmness and humectants that will help moisturise skin.

Putting it to the test, the Jivesse cream is smooth and quite dense with a lovely subtle fragrance. It spreads well despite its dense feel, and is quickly absorbed. It feels lovely to wear both with and without makeup, and actually seems to help with makeup application. After using morning and evening for a few weeks now, my skin feels smoother, brighter and more hydrated. I have quite sensitive skin, and this has certainly worked for me, smoothing out redness left over from winter! I will certainly be continuing and watching for further improvements in texture – Jivesse recommend 8 weeks of use to see the full results.

I am personally all about resisting any notion of invasive skin treatments, so premium, collagen based products like Jivesse, which make the most of the wonderful range of natural ingredients, are certainly the way forward in my book.
