Moët & Chandon’s ‘Now or Neverland’ party in London is the flagship event of the first Moët Party Day on 11th June. This one-night only immersive experience will see guests transported into a liberated world of spontaneity, celebration and the spectacular. And we’re super excited to have a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky Flux reader.
Founded in 1743, Moët & Chandon is the House that introduced champagne to the world. It’s also the champagne first sprayed over the crowd by a racing car driver, when on 11th June 1967 Dan Gurney chose to spray rather than drink the Jeroboam bottle of Moët & Chandon he was handed as he stood on the podium. Just like that, a joyous new tradition was born. To celebrate the anniversary of that day, Moët & Chandon have named 11th June ‘Moët Party Day’.
The day will be celebrated with a string of parties across the globe in cities including Paris, Hong Kong, Mexico City and in the UK London, Brighton, Glasgow and Leeds. A further 150 impulsive bottle openings across bars and restaurants in the UK, will extend the celebratory spirit of the day, completed by sampling of Ice Impérial, one of the latest additions to its portfolio of Champagne, across 60 independent outlets on the same day. It’s going to be Moët’s biggest nationwide celebration to date.
The ‘Now or Neverland’ party will take place at Victoria House in Bloomsbury in the pièce de résistance of the Moët & Chandon celebrations. Guests can expect an immersive, fantastical night of hedonism as they step through the door and plunge into “NOW or Neverland”. Revellers will be led from room to room, and should expect the unexpected with all of Moët’s irresistible decadence.
There will be live sets from acclaimed DJs alongside more intimate, underground performances that can only be unlocked by the most daring partygoers. As the night unfolds, forget the past and future, liberate yourself in living for the moment, immerse yourself in the ‘now’.
