Win classic films on Blu-Ray! Control, Amelie and Lost in Translation

If you are looking for those last minute Christmas presents Momentum Pictures have recently released five classic movies on Blu-ray for the first time ever.

The Blu-ray debut of the mesmerising AMELIE follows a series of high-profile festival screenings throughout the autumn to celebrate the film’s 10th Anniversary re-issue. We also see director Michel Gondry and screenwriter Charlie Kaufman’s Oscar and BAFTA winning memory-erasing romance ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND starring Jim Carrey & Kate Winslet released.

REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky’s tale of addiction and desperation starring Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly and an Oscar nominated performance by Ellen Burstyn completes the offering alongside LOST IN TRANSLATION, writer/director Sofia Coppola’s film charting the unlikely friendship between Scarlett Johansson’s bored newly-wed and Bill Murray’s jaded ageing actor as they discover Japan.

And finally, the enigmatic and unmissable CONTROL which of course tells the story of Joy Division and Ian Curtis. The film marked the BAFTA winning directorial debut from world-renowned photographer Anton Corbijn.

These five contemporary classics, stunningly remastered in 1080p high definition for Blu-ray and packed with special features are an essential for any film fan.
