Still Good x Spring Court Men’s Tennis Shoes

The most famous thing about French tennis shoe brand Spring Court is the really rather impressive fact that John Lennon got married in a pair! Now for Spring Summer 12, they collaborate with Still Good for a range for Colette.

From their launch back in 1936, Spring Court revolutionised tennis with their natural ventilation and casual styling. A sport footwear staple, the shoes have been picked up by all the best menswear retailers from Oi Polloi to Good Hood. Plus the brand has collaborated with the likes of Comme Des Garcons to give some idea of the credentials.

For the Spring Court x Still Good collaboration, they have produced a limited edition of 100 red and 100 blue fabric tennis shoes. Still Good – the new urban men’s fashion brand – have designed a main body made of chambray from Japan combined with leather nubuck used on the heel and the stripe covering the inside edges. Each shoe comes with 3 pairs of laces: brown, navy and white for the blue model ; navy, red and white for the red one.

Finally, and testament to the attention to detail of Still Good designer, Clement Taverniti, a special eyelet marks the shoe’s ground – brown for the blue model and navy for the red one.

The Spring Court x Still Good collaboration will be available in early March at Colette (Paris). See www.still-good.com, www.springcourt.fr and www.colette.fr.
